| Personal Information |

The personal information we obtain about you via our registration form is mainly so our site and our staff can identify you from the many other members using our services. Any additional information about yourself may be asked for usually via a form as you navigate through the pages of Coder Profile, which are usually optional. We only ask for personal information when we have a genuine need for it.

| Logging of IP Addresses |
|
We record and log IP addresses for administrative purposes as well as security as they help prevent fraud of any transactions made through Coder Profile. Should the government or any law enforcement agency request an IP address for a fraudulent transaction we will pass over the IP address that was recorded in order to help with the investigation. We record IP addresses on incorrect login attempts and various areas of the site to prevent "hacking" attempts and to help improve security around the site. Any attempts made to access a members account will record your IP address and your IP address will be made viewable to the owner of the account which may be viewed via their access logs as well as other information regarding the login attempt.

When we link to external websites, they are in no way affiliated to us, unless we state otherwise. We are in no way responsible for their content, services provided or anything else in relation to them.

| Transmission of Data |
|
We do not currently utilize any secure server connections. To make it simple, any page that starts with https (the added "s" means the page is secure) is making use of a secure (encrypted) connection. This is simply because passwords are already hashed and encoded on the client side before transmitting them over the internet. At the current time we do not process any payment methods or alike that require a secure connection to be made with the server. However in the future any situation that we feel requires a secure connection with the server we will make use of a secure connection.

| Use of Contact Information |
|
We may use contact information you have provided to contact you as well as to identify you on Coder Profile such as your user name and real name if one was entered. When we contact you it will be either a member of our staff or a service we have on our website for example a subscription service or newsletter. We will NEVER ask for your password or other confidential details via email!

| Browser Cookies - Our Use |
|
We simply use cookies to transfer data from one page to another which is primarily your session id. This session id is simply a long string of characters that links you to your member account when you login and keeps you logged in while browsing the site (unless you log out). We do not take details from cookies set by other sites neither do we use them for any malicious purposes. If you decide to save your password in a cookie they are securely hashed. At the time of this writing we do not allow any 3rd party cookies to be set. However in the future this may change in which case we will try our best to make sure they are only set by well known and trusted sources such as google.com.

We do not currently have any ads displayed on Coder Profile and we have no plans to ever make use of ads.

| Moderation of Data |
|
Strictly for moderation purposes staff at Coder Profile are able to read, view and manipulate all personal and private data related to a member's account. Staff at Coder Profile are only allowed to manipulate member's accounts and the personal and public data linked to that account if their job requires them to do so. Staff are to keep members private data confidential and are not to share, discuss or sell that private data relating to the owners account or private area's of Coder Profile. Staff will only use their authority to remove content not fit for this site, violates our Terms & Conditions agreement or any other purpose that seems unsuitable.
