Hey up guys,

Here is the new v2 template that will be replacing what you see now:

Any feedback is welcome.

I've found the remaining problem muscles for my hands... (the flexor muscles that flex the two fingers you lay on your mouse and the one that pulls your hand to the right - which there is no stretch for). It's a case of massaging them each day.

I'm now working on CP every sunday from now on until CP v2 is finished. I will try and post progress reports each week but don't hold me on that :-P

Kind regards,
Scott

P.S. That blue header you see... you can change that to ANY colour by typing in the 6 char hex code in the footer of the template. But it will default to that blue... since most people find blue a nice relaxing colour (the sky).

Looks good, but I think that the rest of the site could get recolored a bit too, not just the header. The dull grey doesn't really seem to match the clear deep blue used in the header.

BTW, what exactly do you browse using the "Browse" button? I think profiles as you have said that you want the site to focus more on the profiles. Although some critisism towards that (at least my opinion), it might make CP a bit less impractical for finding specific source codes, or specific articles, but most likely you have thought of that already, the mysterious "Browse" button might let you browse even more than profiles?

Last but not least, great work!

I'm not changing the "neutral" colours of the content area for the simple reason that it will take foreever... i want to get v2 uploaded this year! :-P

As for browse... it will let you browse all the latest source codes, articles, blogs, tutorials, etc... which i think will put your little worry to rest

Also, that blue can be changed to what ever colour you want by selecting a new colour or entering a hex colour in a box in the site footer.

Kind regards,
Scott

P.S. For those whos saw the other designs... i went with this one because it's the easiest to code up and install. As already mentioned, i want to release v2 this year, not next year :-P though i have tweaked the design a bit since i showed you guys.

Yeah, i feel v2 really needs something to indicate some huge changes within seconds of just looking at the site.

Do you think it's a "radical theme change" in a good way?

Kind regards,
Scott
