Just keeping you informed about the progress of my hands... since until they are functioning properly CP wont get updating
Anyway, the osteo seems to think i have numerous trigger points in my arms, and upper back. The thing is, it could just be ONE or TWO causing all the others to form (known as satellites)... until the main ones are removed, the satellites will just keep coming back and wont go away. Finding them is hard especially when you have muscle layered on more muscle and all your looking for is a knot in the muscle keeping a few strands of muscle tight. When you find one, pressing it is painful and "should" replicate the symptoms.
There is a specific point in the top of my triceps, just below the deltoid... if i get a golf ball and press against the wall... it digs in and after i roll it there is one point where the following happens (its about 1 cm in diameter, so its quite hard to find):
I get a pain the front of my shoulder that aches (that pain was so bad 8-9 months ago that i couldn't even sleep on my side)
the area i had my tennis elbow in, starts to tighten and burn
my fingers swell up and my knuckles go red
That all happens within about 15-20 seconds of holding it there in that single spot!
This also falls in line with my workout routine as well. Which is why at the start of the week when i do triceps and deltoids... my hands are worse... when i get to doing biceps and back on friday... my hands are almost better again
The gym seems to have sorted out the problems of my forearms aching, and twitching biceps.
So it would appear the problem is around the back of my shoulder somewhere... rotator cuff, maybe top of triceps, not 100% sure... but i will talk to the osteo about it in a few weeks and see what he has to say about it. Since there are a few things that don't fit in place. Such as why is it that if i do bicep curls with my shoulders pushed slightly forward, the next day i have a dead arm! If the prob was with the triceps, why does that effect it? So maybe it's move towards the rotator cuff... which seems like my triceps i'll leave that for the osteo to answer
Kind regards,
Scott
P.S. I just massaged that area i spoke about but did it on just my right triceps... now typingg this is hurting my left hand... but my right hand has no pain in at all
