I want to spice up the donation system a little, by allowing you to hydrate CP with beer! .
Basically, i am going to publish all the CP expenses i have paid for such as ionCube encoder, advertising, hosting, etc. Total it up and say that was £1000.
Then, the price of 1 beer is £10 (just an example). This means that CP will be dehydrated by: 100 Beers!
So, you can help CP by buying it a beer, or two, or five, or 50 . The total beers you buy CP will auto adjust the dehydration bar as well and the beers will be added to your account! The CP supporter badge will be changed to a beer badge showing how many beers you have bought CP
Two questions.
1. What do you think? Maybe something better / more related to CP than beer? Such as a Chip?
2. Anyone got a nice icon of beer or w/e?

P.S. obviously beers will be cheaper than £10 each, since some people may want to donate something smaller but for the sake of this post, multiples of 10 works easier
I think I've seen these done before. It's usually on blog posts where it says something like "If you liked this post, buy me a beer!". Adding that to CP will be relevant (kinda). I mean... I sometimes drink beer when I code... lol
How about Coffee? Coffee is more related to coders than beer; or for that matter, anything with caffeine.
Now that I just typed that, a thought came to mind. What about a whole bar of common programmer drinks. Each drink can have it's own price.
I actually don't like the idea of "buying" CP a beer or anything. It just seems pointless. However, I do think that caffeinated drinks are more relevant.
Maybe not beer, maybe something else instead? Maybe caffeine like craige suggested?

Taken me a few attempts, thought the badges would be good, guess not . Then i was going to allow people to pay for things like hosting - where they can buy a percentage or something. But then thats to complicated. And then i thought about, how would you thank a friend or someone... you'l buy them a beer, or buy them lunch or something. So finally, i got to the whole beer thing.
What do you think to coffee instead of beer?
Also, it will generally not get over hydrated, because the more money that comes in, the more i will have to invest back in to CP

Eg, Beer/Coffee - Dehydration, passing out (dunno what that would mean), maybe have a CP status each month -
