Ever written a business plan... if so what did you write it for? Was it to get a loan from a bank? Just for your personal guidance and overview of your business etc?
I have written a couple... some for business studies at school... wrote one with my business partner matt (although he wrote the majority of it) for a website of ours.. and i have written one for this site.
The reason i wrote one for this site is because it helps me keep on track and build deadlines i can stick too and help build the image of the site properly in my head. More of a guideline if you like so i don't go off track while developing the site.
well I wrote one about a year ago for one of my websites that sold turnkey sites, and I wrote another one for this "make believe" company as a project for the FBLA
I didn't teacher made up a company with some information and told the class to create a business plan....ehh I made a 81 (B) on it so I didn't do so bad...(although I wen't through hell trying to please her with it)
Haha, yeah teachers ay! They are never damn happy with your work... but then again they always seem to make you improve it... even if you are kicking and screaming while your doing it
Goal: You must write the goal of your project, what it is suppose to do at the end.
Target: Who is your target. Who will use and/or be affected by your project.
Budget: You must write down your budget, and how you will spend your money to make the project a success. Such as how many people will you hire, how much you need to spend on machines, software, etc. This way, you can see if your project is feasable in your situation.
Functions: Every function of your project must be written down, else, you might always add new ones and never end.
Calendar: You must write down important dates and what will be done at these dates. You must prepare your schedule so that after 1 month, this and this must be done, 2 months this and this and this must be done, etc.
Manual: A manual about the project. The manual must include information for future investers and/or future clients/users. It must tell them exactly what the project will do, why people should choose your project, etc.
