My Experiences So Far with Languages
Programming
I enjoy writing articles, people call me an extremely descriptive writer when I write fiction.
But what really peeves me is Microsoft. I like Windows 98, but ever since that, their quality has gone down, and their prices gone up.
My friend's windows 98 computer, with 300 MB of RAM boots up faster any Windows XP or Vista computer I have seen, and most of those have a GIG of ram!
and better processors and everything! I also like Windows 98 "MS-DOS Mode" because I like that instant start-up, and I find it a nice environment for
writing and testing my Perl programs, no distractions your OS would have such as annoying alerts, whatever.

I have explored HTML, CSS, JavaScript, heck I even explored JS, and used it to open notepad, and write in it, without actually touching the window.
If I want music to run, I'll pack a perl program that uses Audio::Beep, and I'll have some old-fashioned sounding music in the background.
(PAR, and PAR::Packer, rock.) I have yet to find a free webspace area that will let me practice Perl's CGI capabilities, but oh well.

I have decided to settle on Perl for ALL my programming needs.
It gets GUI's done in like... 5 lines, C++? pah, impossible to do that.
Perl is alot easier I find then C++, C, and I kinda like it more then PHP even though they're similar.

What's sad is, I cannot find any place I can go to to learn the ol' BASIC.
I have a Commodore 64 in my basement, it needs a monitor, but it works as far as I know.

I have a nice stack of 5 1/2 in floppy disks and a drive for them too.

I guess.... I love the oldies. Win98, C64, I love laptops though.
My computer science class has this old laptop, it's heavy, has a tiny screen, and it's big lol.

Well, Perl has quite a few years under it's belt and I like that.
But I find their should be an interpreter written in Java.

That way it's the same on every OS, and well... I think it'll just solve all the "ActivePerl and Strawberry Perl" differences... and even the "Linux" differences
Heck I hear they're comin out with a chocolate perl and vanilla perl now too....

I mean all these could turn into one super Java interpreter.
Right?

Anyway I'm gonna blast my slim shady funk, and let you pplz go chill.
