How long have you been coding for?
Since I was 13, so six years. That's not counting HTML which I did a little of when I was 12.
What is your favorite coding language and why?
Python. It's easy and it's usually all I need for most of my projects.
What got you interested in coding?
A book on C++.
What compilers do you like to use?
C++: Dev-C++ with MinGW
Python: Notepad++ for writing, Python for compiling
What is your favorite IDE?
It's a close tie between Visual Studio and Dev-C++
What do you enjoy most about coding?
The challenges.
What are your favorite coding books?
The Ruby Way and You Can Do It!
The microsoft quick books aren't bad either.

How many hours a week on average do you spend coding?

What do you use your coding languages for?
Anything. Right now I'm working on a mud and I use python for small scripts in Mushclient which help me do things quicker. I also made a log cleaner in Python.

What do you think makes a good coder?
Someone not afraid to be wrong. Let's face it, no one knows everything about any coding language. Some people focus more on one thing then others. You have to be able to accept that you won't always know best and learn from the other person. Oh yeah, and be patient as hell.
How many of your friends enjoy coding, if so how many?
One...Yeah, and he's online. So, none that I've ever met in person.
Have you ever worked on an Open Source project, if so what was the project?
I worked on FIFE for a while, then it went dead.
What is your ideal environment & comforts when coding? Eg, in a quiet office with some coffee.
Notepad++ and some music.
What has aided you the most when coding?
Freenode's #Python channel.
What language do you plan on learning next, and why?
Actionscript. I want to make flash games now, it's on my list of things to do.
What sort of things have you coded?
I did a mud client once. An IRC bot. A module searcher for a mud I play. A receipt maker for a mod I played. I also did an informational dialog for a mud I play. I made a log cleaner for said mud.
What are you most proud of coding?
NovaMUD. My Mud client. Man that took a lot of time, but I loved doing it afterwards. BTW, network coding in C++ using Winsock 2 = DAMMMNN
Where do you get your ideas from for a project?
Things I'm too lazy to do myself and sometimes random project ideas.
What motivates you to keep coding?
